sureties,
as the Board of Directors shall determine. He/she shall have charge and custody
of and be responsible for all the funds and securities of the Association; receive
and give receipts for monies due and payable to the Association from any source
whatsoever, and deposit such monies in the name of the Association in such banks,
trust companies or other depositories as shall be selected in accordance with
the provisions of these By-Laws; and in general perform all the duties incident
to the office of Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned
to him/her by the Board
of Directors. The Treasurer shall make a report of the Corporation at each Board
of Directors meeting. The Treasurer shall make an audited report of the Corporation
at each annual meeting. For this later purpose, an auditor shall be selected by,
but not from, the Board of Directors.
Sec.
10.) Removal of an Officer or Director from office: When justifiable cause is
present
to warrant the removal of an officer or Director from office, a two-thirds
affirmative
vote of the full Board of Directors shall be necessary for the removal of said
officer or Director. Upon a
two-thirds affirmative vote of the full Board of Directors, the officer or Director
shall be requested in writing from the Board of Directors,
after a two-thirds affirmative vote of the membership, to tender his/her resignation.
Sec.
11.) Pastor(s) - The Pastor(s) of this church shall be appointed
by the Board
of
Directors with the approval of the membership. The appointment shall be by a two-thirds
vote of the full Board of Directors then ratified by two-thirds vote of the membership
at a special members meeting. The spiritual organization in its entirety
shall
be under the full and complete control and direction of the appointed Pastor(s)
who will at all times give full and complete consideration to any and all recommendations
from the Board of Directors. Attendance to all development and unfoldment classes
shall be considered a privilege tendered at the discretion of the church Pastor(s).
All such invitations shall be issued in accordance with admission and attendance
requirements as stipulated by, and only by, the church Pastor(s). The Pastor(s)
shall appoint the heads of any spiritual departments, which may be established
within the church, such as Lyceum, Healing Department, etc., and shall be responsible
for the general management of these departments.
