GREETER'S DUTIES

Responsibilities of the Greeter:

Arrive at least twenty minutes to half an hour before the service starts to set up and take care of any unforeseen details.

• Check the:
Lobby - Sanctuary - Restrooms - Kitchen
before the service. Make certain they are tidy and stocked and that hymnals are easily accessible.

• Welcome people as they enter the church.
(If you do not recognize the guest(s), ask them if they have been before
or how they heard about us? Introduce them to other members and the board).

• Direct new-comers to the sanctuary and point out the restrooms and drinks stand.

• Keep the lobby quiet during the meditation portion of the service.

• Be available to individuals who may have questions regarding our religion, church, etc. Direct them to the President or Vice President if you do not know the answer to their question.

• Direct new guests to literature and information about our church center located in the lobby.

• Once the service has started sit at the rear of the sanctuary so you can assist anyone arriving late, or wishing to leave early, or use the restrooms.

• Direct members of the congregation for refreshments and fellowship at the end of the service.
